Staffs from Kosher, an American Certification Company, came to Hengyang Hialian for certification and acceptance inspection. They had a careful investigation on the food hygiene of saleratus product made by Halian, and they gave full confirmation for the hygeian job that Hailian did. Therefore, Hailian Company was successfully granted the certification from Kosher and Halal issued by American and Indonesia Companies, which means Halian has obtained the pass for their sodium bicarbonate product into the Jew and Muslim market.
Most of the Jew is living in Israel, Russia, U.S.A, Canada and other several ten countries. They all embrace Judaism, which embodies a food culture in their Dietary Act. According to a statistic, there are over 13 hundred million Muslim around the world distributed in more than 100 countries. The Muslim occupies the majority population in 57 of those countries. Besides the 13 hundred million Muslim, 2 hundred million non-Muslim, who live in those Muslim countries, are also Halal food consumers.
Nowadays, Jewish and Muslim food are becoming more of a concern by governments and merchants, as there exists a huge business opportunity. It is estimated that the volume of trade of Jewish and Muslim food around the world can reach 4000 hundred million dollars each year. Many Jewish and Muslim countries import a large amount of meat, birds, dairy products and other food from Europe, Australia, USA, New Zealand and South Asian countries. China also plays an active role in this market, and China has established commercial relationship with many countries after the entrance to WTO. Therefore, there is a vast developing space for Chinese Jewish and Muslim food product.
